Festival Anthroposcènes 2027 : Bunker
The Tuesday 18 May at 20 a.m30
Boulevard de Normandie Le Cadran 27000 EVREUX
It all begins with open-heart surgery. Paul, an executive at a major petrochemical company, has his personal surgeon, Thomas, implant a silicon chip designed to enhance his neural capabilities… He is in his %AB luxury bunker %BB with his daughter, Ami, while adjustments are made to optimize the implant’s effects.
Paul is a father prone to verbosity, rife with neurosis and delusions. A superhuman, as he would have it, now equipped with a brain of superhuman capabilities. The AI solves all his problems, alters his relationships, and upends his behavior—including his speech. His daughter is a rebel—silent and uncompromising. We understand her.
Matthieu Bareyre and Marion Siefert tell us about the days to come that go off the rails in a %AB paranoid sci-fi story set behind closed doors %BB. One has a gun, the other has knives. He asserts, she evades. He is words, she is movement and dance. Words and silences. A futuristic vision that, in light of certain %AB images %BB and current events, seems all too close to reality.
