Exposition Conquêtes créatives – Millénium 2027

The Carré Saint-Cyr, a gallery dedicated to the arts and crafts, invites artisans to reinterpret the Bayeux Tapestry, creating a dialogue between contemporary creation and historical memory. In this way, it contributes to promoting arts and crafts and showcasing the exceptional skills that form the foundation of its identity. The exhibition offers a sensitive and technical reinterpretation of this iconic work. It highlights the diversity of traditional skills and creative approaches in contemporary arts and crafts: textiles, ceramics, metal, glass, wood, illumination, and engraving. This project combines the transmission of collective memory with support for contemporary artistic creation.
