Equidays: Polo demonstration
The Sunday 18 October at 15 a.m00
Pôle International du Cheval Longines Deauville 14800 SAINT-ARNOULT
Did you know that the Longines – Deauville International Equestrian Centre founded Normandy’s very first polo school? It was alongside Evrard de Spa – now an instructor and director of the Latino Polo Club – that the teaching of this Argentine sport took root in Deauville. Whilst the grass pitches at the Deauville-La Touques racecourse host the summer lessons, the Centre’s indoor arena takes over in the autumn. And during the Equidays, the public can discover polo through an immersive session: an introduction to the sport, meeting the horses, an explanation of playing techniques and a demonstration during a match.
Duration: 1 hour.
No booking required.
