Equidays – Exhibition by Alain Guillotin and Colonel Langlois

The Saturday 24 October

Office de Tourisme Terre d'Auge 16 bis place Jean Bureau 14130 PONT-L'EVEQUE

Alain Guillotin devotes his talent to exploring the equestrian theme, offering his unique artistic vision.
He invites you to immerse yourselves in his world at the 2026 Équidays in the Pays d’Auge.

Since 2015, when he won first prize at the Salon Artcheval in Saumur, Alain Guillotin has continued to create works centred on the equine theme. His high-profile appearances at art events such as Art Capital at the Grand Palais in Paris and at prestigious equestrian events (Chantilly, Deauville, Cabourg, Saumur, La Garde Républicaine, etc.) bear witness to his unwavering commitment to his art.

His contemporary style, imbued with modernity, offers a unique perspective on the grace and power of the horse, whilst drawing on his background in advertising. Through a palette of vibrant colours, Alain Guillotin brings his works to life, capturing the energy of movement. His ‘trace’ technique lends a distinctive dynamism to every brushstroke, creating a striking visual harmony. The artist suggests his subject with a subtlety that invites the viewer to explore beyond the canvas. Each work becomes an invitation to share this artist’s fascination with the equestrian world – a poetic dance between the suggested subject and the viewer’s imagination.

Alain Guillotin, a unique artist, will be showcasing five different pictorial styles across five venues during the Équidays in the Pays d’Auge: the Terre d’Auge Tourist Office, La Distillerie bookshop, the Sellerie d’Auge, the Brévedent equestrian centre and Calvados Drouin.

In addition to this exhibition at the Terre d’Auge Tourist Office, there will be two reproductions of works by Colonel Jean-Charles Langlois and equine bronzes from a private collection.
