Equidays: A day to discover careers in the equine sector

A region renowned for its equestrian excellence, Normandy is home to a wide variety of sectors that really have what it takes! From horse breeding to equestrian sports, including leisure riding, the equine sector is an integral part of the local landscape and offers numerous career opportunities, some of which are still little known.
This new open day invites secondary school pupils, jobseekers and the general public to meet the people who bring these professions to life on a daily basis. Breeders, grooms, professional riders, farriers, riding instructors, stable managers, maintenance staff and administrative staff: these are just some of the roles that keep the equine sector thriving in Calvados.
There’s a slot for everyone:
• 10.00–12.00: RSA recipients and jobseekers
• 13.30–15.30: secondary school pupils
Registration is compulsory for jobseekers registered with France Travail.
