Émilie B.
The Friday 06 November at 20 a.m30
Théâtre Yolande Moreau 27200 VERNON
Show Summary:
Who is Emilie B.? A victim of a news story, a courageous mother willing to do anything to be heard, an invisible superheroine, or a stage actress? A little bit of all of that at once.
Despite medical appointments for her autistic son, sleepless nights, and absurd bureaucratic battles, she’ll be there. Because she belongs to this hybrid species: mom-actresses.
Women who live several days’ worth of life in a single day, carry their families on their shoulders, and are always there when the spotlight shines.
This show isn’t (just) about Florence Aubenas. It’s a play about struggle, the beauty of friendship, and what might save love.
Blurring the lines between reality and fiction, it explores journalism, disability in France, and those invisible lives often referred to as “at the bottom of the pile.”
