The Distillerie de la Seine is an artisanal distillery founded in Le Havre in the former slaughterhouse in 2019 by Manuel Bouvier, who has been passionate about distillation for four generations.
His vision is to tell the story of the Seine through his spirits, using water from the Langres Plateau and ingredients sourced from the regions through which the river flows. It is one of the few distilleries producing whiskey in Le Havre.
