Contact Festival #17 – Young Photographic Talent Award Ceremony

From over 200 entries from 35 countries, Mathias Benguigui, Juliette Pavy, Flore Prébay and Émeline Sauser have been shortlisted for this year’s Young Photographic Creation Award. Following several months’ residency in Normandy, they will unveil their previously unseen projects this autumn at the Planches Contact Festival.

The Jury Prize, chaired by Rima Abdul-Malak and comprising leading figures from the worlds of photography, art and culture, will recognise one of these four artists.

The winner will be awarded a creative residency at the Villa Pérochon – Centre for Contemporary Photographic Art, whilst the InCadaqués Festival will offer one of the four artists a residency as part of its festival in Spain. The ceremony will be followed by a tour of the exhibition, an opportunity to meet the photographers and discuss their projects carried out in Normandy.
