Conference: ‘Animal-drawn transport: benefiting soils and landscapes’
The Monday 19 October at 18 a.m00
Maison de la Forêt 14490 MONTFIQUET
At this joint presentation, led by Pierre Vandaele (an organic market gardener using animal-drawn transport) and Fabrice Vautier from Attelages de la Nicollerie, find out how animal-drawn transport, through the use of horses, is regaining its rightful place in market gardening, timber hauling and the maintenance of natural areas. More respectful of the soil, more precise in its work and often less disruptive to natural environments, this practice delivers high-quality results whilst promoting sustainable and living traditional skills. A talk to help you understand its technical, environmental and human benefits.
Registration recommended.
