Born in France from a blend of Italian, Berber, and Ardèche influences, Oaio was trekking through the Argentine mountains when music and writing first began to stir within her.
Immersed in folk, then drawn to Latin American music, she delved into jazz and then veered toward bluegrass, emerging from these adventures with a debut album, *Bizarre Monde*, charting the course of a non-traditional French-language song, a blend of Mediterranean and American influences.
%C0Whether on guitar, ukulele, or banjo, this artist from Lille carries her voice and her songs like pilgrims carry their staffs, in search of a new world built on connections and reconciliation.
