“I come from a family of violent men. From father to son. A lineage that came to an end ten years ago, with the death of my uncle. Domestic violence shatters lives—those of the women and children who endure it. So how did the women in my family—the sisters and daughters of these violent men—manage to survive? What did they carry with them from that violence once the storm had passed? This film is the story of a liberation. ”
