Come and make a birdbox to put up in your garden to increase your chances of spotting birds.
Launched in 2013, the Garden Bird Observatory, run by the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO) and the “Vigie-Nature” network, is France’s largest citizen science initiative involving the general public. Every year in May, it organises a major spring garden bird count.
To help you increase your chances of spotting species that can sometimes be hard to spot, we invite you to come and make a birdhouse that you can easily put up in your garden, on your balcony or in a public park. This workshop will also give you the chance to familiarise yourself with the counting procedure so you’ll be fully prepared when the big day arrives!
See you on 17 February 2027, from 2 pm to 4 pm. Don’t forget to register on the Dôme website – it’s free!
