Behind the scenes at the Dôme: the animal shelters
The Saturday 09 January at 14 a.m00
Le Dôme 3 Esp. Stéphane Hessel 14000 CAEN
Curious folk: mark your calendars! Would you like to find out what Le Dôme is all about but have never dared to step inside? Then come along on the first Saturday of every month* at 2 pm to get the answers to your questions!
*So, what exactly is Le Dôme? A museum, a library, a research centre, a workspace? Am I allowed to go in? With my children, my friends? What’s it for? To have fun, learn, chat, collaborate? Do I need to book? And how much does it cost?
If you’ve ever asked yourself one or more of these questions, we’d love to see you every first Saturday of the month at 2 pm. For two hours, a member of the team will guide you through your first steps at Le Dôme, helping you discover all its nooks and crannies, activities and facilities. They’ll also introduce you to the flagship prototypes that tell the story of our project and the history of the venue. By the end of this tour, you’ll know everything there is to know and, we hope, leave brimming with enthusiasm and creative ideas!
This Saturday, 9 January 2027, from 2 pm to 4 pm, follow our guide to discover bird boxes, feeders and other animal shelters made at the Dôme’s Fablab. It’s a chance to discover the secrets behind their creation and learn about citizen science projects focusing on insects, birds, bats and more…
