And don’t forget the play! – Isigny-Omaha Cultural Season: LA TRAVERSE

This year, your cultural season is undergoing a transformation and changing its name to La Traverse. Whilst the identity is changing, our ambitions remain the same: to share memorable moments together, to make culture accessible to everyone, and to actively support artistic creation.

And don’t forget the play!
Comedy / Musical theatre

Or how the power cut on 19 December 1978 turned the lives of
Marie-Jo and Anita, cinema ushers, upside down…
On 19 December 1978, the crowd is thronging into the Ciné-club and the ushers, Marie-Jo and Anita, are rushing about to seat the audience. Just as the screening begins, an unexpected incident turns the evening on its head, and our ushers have to improvise to keep the audience entertained whilst they wait. Backstage, Amédée the projectionist and Barnabé,
the young, novice usher, try to save the evening. Accidents and mishaps then follow one after another during this extraordinary evening, ripe for confidences, little songs and the follies that only a sleepless night can bring about. What if this unique evening were, for our ushers, the chance to step out of the shadows and into the limelight?

Following the successes of ‘La Claque’ and ‘Le Siffleur’, discover Fred RADIX’s latest production: ‘Et n’oubliez pas la pièce’
‘A delightful script for a colourful cast. Fred Radix’s verve is unmistakable, with deadpan one-liners and visual gags.” TÉLÉRAMA
