Saint-Germain le Vasson Wood

In the immediate vicinity of the Saint Germain le Vasson Mining Museum, 40 hectares of woodland (owned by the commune) welcome visitors.
Set in unspoilt countryside, this woodland is home to species endemic to our region, such as chestnut, oak, ash and beech, and is ideal for family walks, hikes with friends or simply a moment of peace and relaxation, whatever the season. At the heart of this area meanders the river Laize, which continues its course through the green meadows where herds graze in all seasons.
Picnic tables on site.
