THE CLIFFS OF THE HAGUE & THE HEATHLANDS OF VAUVILLE
At the heart of the Natura 2000 site "Coast and Heathland of Hague Headland", the high granite cliffs of Jobourg Point and Voidries give a choice of spectacular views of the Channel Islands and the turquoise coves at their foot. This abrupt separation between land and sea is home to a wide variety of species and a synonym for biodiversity. Peregrine falcons, shags, fulmars and ravens all find the steep slopes ideal for resting and nesting. Down on the foreshore, common eel-grass abounds.
