Le Castel Vendon

It is one of the most emblematic sites of the Cotentin
It obviously owes its fame to Jean-François Millet who represented it in this marvelous painting, done in the 1840s and entitled Le Rocher du Castel
This masterpiece is on display at the Thomas Henry Museum in Cherbourg. But the rock is also a pretext to take the time to contemplate this dazzling panorama.
