In the Roumois region, not far from Rouen, go and discover the tilers' and brick makers' skills. Thanks to the Maison de la Terre (Clay House), you will discover the Roumois potters', tilers' and brick makers' legacy: a traditional know-how that influenced people's daily lives in the area and that still influences the architectural heritage today. A unique collection comprising 1,500 traditional and popular ceramics also allows to hold temporary exhibitions on different themes: the art of cooking, well-being, interior design, comfort, life in the French regions in the previous century. But it is not only about the past, the present is also showcased thanks to the work of contemporary ceramic artists. Pottery workshops are also organised both for adults and children all year round.
