St Germain-sur-Ay's Harbour is one of the biggest and of the wildest of the west coast of the department of "la Manche".
In this "must see", discover the different atmosperes of the salted marshs depending of the tides.
Walk along the "Sentier des Douaniers" (GR 223) and have a picnic break near by the guard house where you can admire the view of the harbour.
The best moment to go there: From April till August for plants, from August till March and May for wintering and migrant birds, from March till July for breeding birds , from March till May for amphibians.
