Dating back to the 12th century, Notre-Dame church was restored in the 15th and 16th centuries and then lost three rows of its nave but enlarged the chapels.
Notre-Dame has an impressive collection of statues. Some, carved in stone, are part of the school of Verneuil and date back to the end of the 15th century, others, dating from the 13th century are made from multi-coloured wood.
Please note that the church is also decorated with stunning stained glass windows from the 19th century and contemporary works by Maurice Denis, Georges Desvallières and Christian Chenard.
