Domaine des Déserts – A vineyard and place of discovery in Marolles, near Lisieux
Situated in Marolles, near Lisieux, the Domaine des Déserts invites you to discover the Normandy vineyards in the heart of the Pays d’Auge.
The estate currently covers 4.5 hectares of vineyards, with four grape varieties: Chenin and Chardonnay for the whites, and Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds. The vineyard will expand by a further 4 hectares in 2027.
Since 1 May 2026, the Domaine des Déserts’ first Normandy wines have been available in the shop, in very limited quantities. Alongside these, the estate offers a selection of wines from our family estate in Saumur: Saumur Champigny, Saumur Blanc, Cabernet d’Anjou, Crémant de Loire, Saumur Brut and Coteaux de Saumur.
Tours and tastings
Throughout the season, Domaine des Déserts offers tours and tastings to explore the estate’s history, the vineyard, the grape varieties and the various stages of winemaking.
From spring 2027, the tours will be enhanced with a visit to the cellar, allowing visitors to go behind the scenes to see the winemaking process and how the wines are crafted.
From May to October, you can also enjoy the wine bar, situated at the heart of the estate, where you can sample our wines in a friendly atmosphere and fully appreciate the vineyard setting.
A space dedicated to wellbeing and the art of living
From 2027, the Domaine des Déserts will also offer a space dedicated to wellbeing and relaxation in the heart of the vineyards. An invitation to take your time, recharge your batteries and discover the estate in a different light, within a stunning natural setting.
Events all year round
Domaine des Déserts offers a programme of events throughout the year, centred on wine, the local terroir, nature and conviviality: themed evenings, gourmet gatherings, visits to the apiary and seasonal events.
Highlights include an oyster brunch in winter, an Easter egg hunt and a Christmas market. The programme changes with the seasons to offer new opportunities to discover and enjoy the estate.
A shop at the heart of the estate
The shop stocks the Normandy wines from Domaine des Déserts, as well as a selection of wines from our family estate in Saumur.
Visitors will also find products distributed exclusively by our brand, including Calvados, Calvados liqueurs and Scotch whiskies, as well as a selection of products chosen for their quality and their connection to the world of local produce and spirits.
The Domaine des Déserts is thus a place of discovery, tasting, sharing and conviviality, where wine, the terroir, nature and well-being come together throughout the seasons.
