Housing the National Centre for Circus Arts offering live performances, the Theatre Circus of Elbeuf has a programme of thirty performances or so and welcomes from 20,000 to 30,000 spectators each season.

Built in 1892 and renovated in 2007, the Elbeuf Theatre Circus is also an important heritage site, listed a Historic Monument, and is one of the eight remaining permanent circuses in France. It is the only one to have a scenic space made up of an oval track and a proscenium theatre, which makes it the only one of its kind.

With three main purposes, the Elbeuf Theatre Circus is all at the same time a place of artistic creation, production and live performances as well as artistic education with an international scope.
