Chocolaterie du Drakkar

Take a journey into the heart of chocolate’s history and step into the indulgent world of artisanal craftsmanship. From its Mayan origins to royal tables, via the epic adventures of the great explorers, retrace the fabulous history of cocoa on an educational tour. Take off on a video journey to Venezuela, landing at a cocoa farm; return to France to learn how the bean is transformed into chocolate; then put your sense of smell to the test in our scent workshop. Discover the secrets behind the creation of our speciality, Le Drakkar, and lift the lids of our wooden boxes to uncover a wealth of fascinating anecdotes. Round off your exploration of chocolate with free access to our laboratory, every Wednesday at 2.30 pm from Easter until All Saints’ Day. Finally, round off your visit with a delicious tasting to tantalise your taste buds.
