Château built between 1703 and 1725 by Jacques Léonard Rouxel de Medavy, Marshall of France, in a medieval enclosure.
Guided tour of the interior where visitors can admire the lavish furnishings, various salons including the grand salon with exceptional wooden flooring inlaid to resemble the sun, and the cards room with a rare collection of ancient atlases.
In the service quarters of the château, there is a room open to the public with an exhibition featuring 44 scale models of boats (ancient and contemporary).
Tours of the château are with a guide. Tours take place according to a fixed schedule in the summer. Depending on your time slot, you will be visiting the château, the globes and atlases room, the scale models room or Saint-Pierre tower (contemporary art collection). There is a self-guided walking tour of the grounds to visit the chapel, dovecote, stud farm and gardens.
