From April to October, Crèvecoeur Castle offers unique events to enjoy with family or friends. Discover themed exhibitions on daily life in the Middle Ages, come and watch knights’ jousting tournaments, take part in medieval activities… and many other activities to create unforgettable memories in an exceptional estate at the heart of the Pays d’Auge and its history.

The scientific adventure
The Schlumberger Museum Foundation: a family, a museum… 50 years of history! For over 40 years, the Schlumberger Museum Foundation has been working to forge links between science and history. In the early 20th century, two young researchers, Conrad and Marcel Schlumberger, invented an innovative mineral exploration technique. In 1970, their family chose Crèvecoeur Castle as the site for a museum chronicling their remarkable journey. A lengthy process of restoration and refurbishment began. In 1973, the museum opened its doors.
