Founded in the 10th century close to a former Roman Road by the 3rd Duke of Normandy, this church has been rebuilt twice, which explains the mix of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles. Take a look at the many references to Saint Taurinus, the 1st bishop of Evreux, on the southern gate and the stained-glass windows, and at the splendid 13th century reliquary box. Religiously kept in a chapel, this exceptionally delicate work of goldsmithing is the only one of its kind in the world and is covered with gold leaf...
