Not far from Saint-Lô, Le Charmant Rigault takes its name from the Rigault family, who have worked this land for generations and sheltered Allied paratroopers here in June 1944. We have combined four former stables into a single house, beneath a beautiful high roof structure that provides plenty of light and space.
Downstairs, there is a large living area with a kitchenette, travertine flooring, a table and a seating area. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (one with a 160 bed and two with 90 beds) and a shower room. Outside, you’ll find your terrace, a barbecue and the large garden which we share.
Bed linen, towels and cleaning are included in a compulsory flat-rate charge of €50 per stay. A cot is available. Our sauna and wood-fired hot tub can be booked on site for €35 per day.
The cycle path and the marshland trails start right outside the property, and Carentan is 8 km away. Pets are welcome (€15 per stay). We live on site and speak Dutch, English and a little French.
