Manoir de la Haut Moine

La Haut-Moine is an exemplary example of traditional Norman architecture made of half-timbering and cob, with its dovecote, its barns, its large pond and its apple trees. Its name reminds us that it was founded in the Middle Ages by the Benedictine monks of the nearby Bec-Hellouin Abbey. The manor house, formerly the monks' dwelling, made of beautiful sandstone, flint and sandstone masonry, welcomes you during the apple blossom season (April to September), with its large fireplaces, its oak beam ceilings and its beautiful rustic staircase. You are welcome in this place full of charm and history, to enjoy the calm of nature and share our jams and breakfasts.
