Old-world charm and a travelling spirit at Bény-sur-Mer
Welcome to our family home, completely renovated last year. Nestling in the heart of the peaceful village of Bény-sur-Mer, this traditional Caen stone residence elegantly blends the historic charm of the past with modern comforts, while reflecting our passion for travelling through Asia and Africa.
The interior has been designed to offer families a relaxing stay with a change of scenery. The lounge, with its monumental stone fireplace and characterful armchairs, is an ideal place to relax and escape. For your meals, you’ll enjoy a fully-equipped contemporary kitchen, opening onto a bright living area. A spacious dining room, with a large convivial table, is the perfect place to share warm moments after a day of discovery. The bedrooms, with their colourful, well-kept atmospheres, combine antique furniture and ethnic touches to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Each floor has its own bathroom, and the second floor is ideal for the independence of children and the tranquillity of adults.
Outside, a private, sunny terrace extends the house. Furnished with comfortable garden furniture, it provides the ideal setting for enjoying the peace and quiet of the Normandy countryside, whether for a leisurely breakfast or an aperitif al fresco.
La Maison Coccinelle is ideally located for exploring the region. You will be staying just a few minutes from the D-Day landing beaches, in the heart of the Juno Beach area. The port of Courseulles-sur-Mer, with its sandy beaches and famous daily fish market, is also close by. It’s the ideal location for combining historical interest, the pleasures of the coast and the serenity of an unspoilt village.
Passionate about sharing and meeting new people, we’ve put all our heart into renovating this house to make it a haven of mixed peace. We’ll be delighted to welcome you and share with you our good local addresses as well as a few tales from elsewhere.
