Welcome to the studio apartment in the family home, refurbished last year. Nestling in the heart of the peaceful village of Bény-sur-Mer, this traditional Caen stone residence elegantly blends the historic charm of the old with modern comforts, while reflecting a passion for travelling through Asia and Africa.
This self-contained studio, located in a large building, is decorated with care and inspired by the owners’ travels. The interior space is organised around a bright living room with a modern kitchen with navy blue fronts, equipped with a dishwasher and oven. The sleeping area is on a mezzanine level, accessed by a staircase, and features a double bed decorated with colourful ethnic textiles. The en-suite bathroom combines contemporary furnishings with charming features such as an antique marble dressing table, highlighted by elegant cement tiles.
For your peace and quiet, the studio has its own private access, allowing you to come and go as you please. Outside, there’s also a private terrace, ideal for enjoying the peace and quiet of the Normandy countryside and dining al fresco on sunny days.
L’Etable de Coccinelle is ideally located for exploring the region. You will be staying just a few minutes from the D-Day landing beaches, in the heart of the Juno Beach area. The port of Courseulles-sur-Mer, with its sandy beaches and famous daily fish market, is also close by. It’s the ideal location for combining historical interest, the pleasures of the coast and the serenity of an unspoilt village.
Passionate about sharing and meeting new people, we’ve put all our heart into renovating this house to make it a haven of mixed peace. We’ll be delighted to welcome you and share with you our good local addresses as well as a few tales from elsewhere.
You can also rent a large house in the same property.
