You’ll need just 10 minutes to cover the 5 km to the Golf Barrière de Deauville, and almost as long to reach the Pole International du Cheval de Deauville. Situated in the Pays d’Auge region, of which Honfleur (21km away) is one of the most beautiful gateways, and just 15 minutes by car from the famous Deauville beaches, this vacation home is ideal for combining the varied pleasures of seaside and water sports activities on the coast, its international American film festival and discovering the inland countryside. Here, stud farms and the Route du Cidre meet the clichés of a territory that will take you from magnificent Augeron villages to cider farms. You can visit Beaumont-en-Auge, Beuvron-en-Auge, Cambremer or, on the Côte Fleurie, nearby Hougate and Cabourg. The town of Caen, 45 km away, is well worth a detour of a few hours before heading off to the D-Day beaches.
