Le Clos du Haut is perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with cows and donkeys as neighbours, and within easy reach of the region’s most popular tourist attractions. Enjoy a high-quality house, thoughtfully equipped and decorated, combining the charm of the Normandy countryside with modern touches for exceptional comfort

The house is perched on a hill and spread over two floors. It features three double bedrooms, each with its own unique character, two beautiful bathrooms, two toilets and a sitting area with a sofa bed that can accommodate two children or an additional adult.

Interior layout
On the ground floor is the entrance hall; Adam’s bedroom and its shower room; a reading corner; and the main living area, divided into three sections: a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining room and the cosy lounge. Our little shop is located in the utility room. Upstairs are the two bedrooms: the Abigaël bedroom and the Alma bedroom, each with its own bathroom; a toilet; a small relaxation area; and a corner with a sofa bed.

Leave your soaps and towels at home – you’ll find everything you need at Le Clos du Haut: sourced from a renowned Vosges-based company, high-quality bedding and linen are included during your stay with us. We also provide you with a full range of exceptional toiletries made in Normandy for your ultimate well-being (exfoliating soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion).

Outdoor areas
Outside, you can relax on the terrace and in the garden overlooking the valley. Stepping out of the living room, a large floor-to-ceiling window opens onto a 25m² terrace on stilts, furnished with garden furniture and a dining table – ideal for al fresco dining under the stars in season.

Wellness area
Just a few steps from the house, our wellness area invites you to slow down and unwind.
Here you’ll find a private sauna made of Scandinavian pine, inspired by Nordic tradition, with a stove that creates gentle heat and lovely plumes of steam. A walk-in shower is available to refresh you between sessions, whilst a large window offers views of the Normandy countryside. Adjustable lighting and an audio system allow you to personalise the atmosphere to suit your preferences.
After your session, settle down on the terrace with a cup of tea, listen to the birdsong and simply enjoy the tranquillity of nature.
The sauna is available throughout your stay. Massages and yoga sessions can also be arranged by booking to extend this wellness retreat.

Garden
In season, you’re welcome to help yourself to fruit from the orchard; a map of the trees can be found here. We have various types of apples, cherries, plums and pears. Next to the gîte is the stable where our donkeys, Charly and Kido, live – they’ll be delighted to see you!
