A weekend or vacation house to rent privately, 15 minutes from Deauville, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, with a maximum capacity of 4 adults.
The house, with its discreet luxury, has been conceived on the principle of a second home to be rented for a weekend, a week, or a vacation... In short, for the duration of your stay, you are at home!
Against the current of the blue paradise of the islands at the end of the world, La Vie de Cocagne shares with you, all year round, summer and winter, all the art of living in Normandy, on the sea side or on the country side.
La Vie de Cocagne is also a song by Jeanne Moreau, where she shares, while living in Paris, her dream of leaving Paris for a weekend to join a small corner of nature and enjoy the delights of life in the country, in all seasons.
While listening to the lyrics of the song, we found that it perfectly summarized our state of mind and the set of values that we wanted to share with our guests.
The Cathedral Room
Very bright and open to the garden, the terraces, the jacuzzi on the terrace and the surrounding meadow, playground of the donkey Chocolat and the horse Zyanthi.
The living room is equipped with two marron glacé sofas and three Napoleon III armchairs, a wood stove, a large flat screen with Apple TV, free access to Netflix, Prime Video, Molotov and OCS, a Sonos dock allowing you to watch a movie in the conditions of a movie theater and simply to broadcast your music.
The dining room
The dining room is open to the kitchen, the living room and the terrace and offers six very comfortable seats.
A baby chair is available on request.
The kitchen
Fully equipped, you will find: two slate worktops, stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, ceramic hob, hood, filter and Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle, mixer), a complete set of kitchen utensils.
The bedrooms
The vacation home offers two main bedrooms on the first floor with their own private bathrooms (shower.

The Chocolate Room
Quality bedding 160 cm, large upholstered headboard, golden porcelain appliques, whitened wooden chest of drawers, closet, old Marrakech engravings, small Louis XVI pouf, linen curtains with blackout lining, sea rush on the floor.
Private bathroom equipped with a slate Italian shower, towels, bathrobes and slippers. Shower gel and shampoo are also provided upon arrival.
A door window allows you to enjoy a view on the meadow and to access a small private terrace.
On the West side, the Grey room
Quality bedding 160 cm, headboard covered with linen, one topped by a large mirror, portraits, thick double curtains, sea rush on the ground.
The private bathroom is equipped with a slate Italian shower, towels, bathrobe and slippers. Shower gel and shampoo are also provided upon arrival.
From this room, you have a view on the garden of grasses.
On the first floor, the children's room or the room for the guests of passage
Small room under the roof equipped with two beds 90 cm with headboards Louis XVI, which can be joined together in double occupation, of bedside lamps Sarah Lavoine, of portraits 19th of children, of poufs, of a piece of furniture with partitions 19th, of chests of drawers bedside, of rush of sea on the ground.
The room benefits from a privative WC and a wash-hand basin.
The bed linen is provided as well as the bathroom linen, including bathrobes.

The garden
The gite has a private garden facing southwest
The garden is laid out in the spirit of a priest's garden, with white flowers, boxwood, grasses, etc. It offers a full view of the meadow and the surrounding countryside, very quiet and without noise or visual nuisance.
You have two wooden terraces: one equipped with a Jacuzzi Softub heated all year and two teak deckchairs.
The other, on the south side, has a dining area for 6/8 people, Weber gas barbecue, large Vlaemynck sunshade, and garden furniture with two Irolo sofas and their breakaway cushions, coffee table and sunshade
The private parking has a secure access to the property through a remote controlled electric gate with automatic lighting.
La Vie de Cocagne is surrounded by stud farms. The village of Bonnebosq, located on the Cider road, is only 2 minutes away by car and 10 minutes on foot. It offers all the necessary commodities for your stay (butcher, delicatessen, newspaper, bakery, pharmacy, florist, secondhand trade?)
Around our gite with its typical Norman charm, you can discover sunken paths, half-timbered farms and manors, orchards and horse farms, the villages of Beaumont en Auge, Cambremer and Beuvron en Auge.
During your stay or your weekend in Normandy, you will find yourself immersed in a real "Pays de Cocagne" which still produces famous cheeses (Pont l'Evêque, Camembert and Livarot), ciders and calvados, crème fraiche and seafood.
Only a few kilometers away from our gite, you can reach the Côte Fleurie: Deauville and its famous beaches, Honfleur and its old basin, Trouville and its famous fish market? these three emblematic cities of Normandy offer you the possibility to enjoy all year long, stores, restaurants, markets and sports or cultural activities.
