Gîte Les Marronniers
In the Normandy countryside, away from a charming little village, "Les Marronniers" is an elegant country house geared entirely toward "vacations, rejuvenation, and well-being." Olivier, a skilled craftsman, completely renovated this old half-timbered building, incorporating the hallmarks of beautiful coastal residences: original colors, carved woodwork, tiled floors, pretty dormers, and a thoughtful overhang. Sylviane designed a warm interior, inspired by these traditional farmhouses, to preserve their soul, incorporating natural colors and trendy details, and, above all, a high level of comfort. The result: space, light, a cozy atmosphere, top-notch amenities, and plenty of little nooks for everyone, both indoors and outdoors, where you can relax, play, finish your favorite book, or observe nature: birds, neighboring cows, and passing deer. The region is superb: on foot or by bike, Epaignes offers local shops. In the valley, don't miss a visit to Cormeilles. On the ground floor, large living room with several areas: the entrance with its cloakroom, the very well-equipped kitchen near the comfortable dining area and the very pleasant living room; wood stove for warmth and ambiance. A beautiful bedroom in blue tones with a large 180×200 bed that can be separated on request. Large bathroom with walk-in shower, double sink; separate toilet. Practical laundry room with washing machine and dryer. UPSTAIRS: the staircase leads to a large landing with on one side a real desk with a view of the countryside, and on the other the children's play area. A large bedroom with industrial decor with a double bed 160×200 and cradle, then 2 small attic bedrooms for one person (each with a 90×200 bed) with a view of the countryside. The house is located on a large garden of over 1800 m² which borders a meadow: large wooden terrace, dining area, deckchairs and a real comfortable relaxation lounge.
