Located in the heart of a charming, lively little town, the G%EEte de Chachou welcomes you for a most enjoyable stay. Right outside the door, you’ll find all the shops you need, restaurants, and café terraces, along with a truly extensive range of recreational activities: a water park, tennis, a movie theater, a greenway leading down to a charming valley (bike rentals available at the tourist office), and on-site fitness and orienteering trails. A little further away, you’ll find a renowned golf course, equestrian centers, an exceptional castle where you’ll enjoy getting lost in the sublime gardens, and charming villages like Harcourt or Le Bec-Hellouin. The guesthouse is an old townhouse that Sébastien has renovated while preserving its charm (period hardwood floors and beautiful exposed beams) and equipping it with all modern comforts, in a very contemporary atmosphere. Although long and narrow, the house is nonetheless spacious—featuring, for example, two relaxation areas—and comfortable. You’ll receive a warm welcome with thoughtful little touches. Don’t miss the famous Wednesday morning market. GROUND FLOOR: Entrance opens onto the long, narrow living area with the living room and TV, the very well-equipped kitchen, and its cozy dining area. A practical utility room with storage and a laundry area (washing machine). Separate toilet. FIRST FLOOR: Spacious landing with a relaxation area, two bedrooms with hardwood floors and 160-width double beds, one facing the courtyard and the other facing the street. Separate shower room and a small bathroom adjoining the second bedroom. Beyond a door, a second staircase leads to the SECOND FLOOR, where there is a large, long attic bedroom with a sleeping area (160×200 double bed) and a relaxation area. There is also a small attic bedroom with a 160×190 double bed, which can be used as a guest room. The house does not have an outdoor area but features a large open space where you can store bicycles. Ample parking is available 150 meters away.
