A pretty postcard of Normandy—such is the setting of the Maison de Lorette. Traditional with its half-timbering and jay's tail, this true family home of Michèle's has retained its character while entering a new century: whitewashed beams, exposed timber framing, and a beautiful Norman wardrobe sit alongside contemporary decor in light tones enhanced with contemporary colors, creating a soft and cheerful atmosphere. Comfort is a given, from a cozy living room near the wood-burning stove and a top-notch kitchen, to the spacious cottage with generous and bright rooms, all opening onto the garden and surrounding countryside. In the middle of this large garden, the house is also in the countryside, surrounded by pastures where cows wander among the apple trees. All around, there are plenty of superb walks along these small country roads or in the valley. You can also reach Cormeilles on foot, a typical and charming town with its colorful houses, good shops, and restaurants. Entrance to the living room from the terrace with on one side the cozy lounge near the wood stove (connected TV and PS4 console) and on the other the very comfortable dining area. Separated by workshop-style glazing, the kitchen is very well equipped, with a second small dining area for two; it also opens onto the terrace. Separate toilet. Upstairs, two good-sized attic bedrooms, with TV and a double bed. Very nice bathroom with its shower area, a double sink unit and toilet. The house benefits from a large, entirely private garden of 1000 m² in the middle of the pastures, with a large terrace at the front perfect for spending good times: relaxation lounge and dining area, barbecue and deckchairs.
