Gîte La longère de Charmandelle
Overlooking the Andelle valley, in a pretty village, the Charmandelle farmhouse shows its promise: proud of its green timber-framed facades, it faces a large, charming riverside property. Facing the garden, the house is spacious, warm and comfortable. The decor combines the house's identity, with its beams, half-timbered walls and antique furniture, with contemporary features such as the bright bedroom and beautiful modern shower room. The garden is a living space in its own right, with games for young and old, places to relax in the shade of the large willow tree, and a sheltered dining area by the water. A warm welcome from Patricia and Bertrand. The region is rich in gems to discover, such as the astonishing Levavasseur spinning mill, a veritable factory-cathedral, the magical Fontaine Guérard abbey or Lyons-la-Forêt, one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France". You can also enjoy lovely walks in the Lieure or Andelle valleys, or in the Lyons beech forest. GITE DE PLAIN PIED: entrance with checkroom, living room on one side with well-equipped kitchen, comfortable dining area and relaxation area, lounge on the other with desk and quality sofa bed (140×190). Attractive, light-filled double bedroom (double bed) with access to shower room with toilet for disabled people. Second independent toilet with washbasin on the entrance side. You have access to the whole of Patricia and Bertrand's property (6000 m²), where you can stroll, relax in the shade, read a book on one of the benches, or watch the ducks go by. For leisure activities: board games, table tennis, trampoline, bikes, portico, horse-drawn carriage or walks in the countryside. Canoeing, kayaking and rock-climbing are also available 11 km away. You'll find everything you need for shopping, as well as two electric vehicle charging points 500 m away in the village.
