La Cour Mare is an 18th century farmhouse of character located in the heart of the hills of the Pays d'Auge on the border of the Calvados department. In the peaceful little town of Crouttes, La Cour Mare is about 8 kilometers from the villages of Camembert, Livarot and Vimoutiers. La Cour Mare offers you accommodation in 3 adjoining gîtes: La Maison du Fermier (9 p.) Le Pressoir (10 p) and Le Studio (2 p). The gîtes can be rented separately or together. In total there are 9 individual rooms for 9 to 21 persons. The gîtes have kept the charm of yesteryear and are very well furnished, they overlook a large garden, enclosed by hedges and facing south. Apple trees and rose bushes bloom in abundance. During July and August you can cool off in the heated pool (3 x 5 meters).
Opposite La Cour Mare, the Saint-Michèl priory, a former dependency of the abbey of Jumièges with its 13th century tithe barn, is a classified historical monument.
The owners live on the estate and are at the disposal of their guests for any help or information (caterers, excursions etc ....).
We have adapted our practices and procedures for the preparation of stays to ensure maximum hygiene and safety. There will be a minimum 35 hour waiting period between two groups to air the premises with open windows and to thoroughly disinfect the gite. Our guests will receive our sanitary protocol in advance so that they can be reassured of the sanitary rules
