This holiday home-museum of the Past is nestled in an 18th century Norman longère farmhouse. It is lavishly decorated with Folk Art coming from the local area and found here and there. All the objects displayed have a story we will tell you. The decor is divided into three permanent exhibitions dedicated to three themes: wheat, milk and apple. Welcome to Normandy!
All the cushioning, the linen and the curtains feature red brick patterns. Special attention has been paid to the bedding; offering hotel quality bedding. Finally, a genuine Norman four-poster bed with curtains provides a perfect setting for the most romantic getaways.
This comfortable holiday cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including a beautiful stone sink, a built-in ceramic hobs, a fridge, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, etc. There is also a bathroom with toilet, washbasin and a shower. The large Norman fireplace works and can be used to grill meat and cook potatoes. From your four poster bed, you can see the fireplace which brings warmth and cosiness to your evenings… Of course, the cottage is insulated and heated. Finally, outside, there is garden furniture, a barbecue, and a gazebo available in the shade of the apple and quince trees.
On site: big indoor heated swimming pool (15 x 6 metres), luxurious indoor hot tub (72 massage nozzles), table tennis, access to the forest (hiking trails), bike hire (Greenway 900 metres away), Norman fine food shop, country style breakfast, wood-fired cooking, authentic Norman meals, etc.
