Here's the ideal place for your next vacation, in a peaceful little corner of the Normandy countryside: go through the wisteria-covered gate in spring, and you'll be somewhere else! Imagine an immense landscaped garden of almost one hectare, with lots of little nooks and crannies where you can relax, read or chat, with the Risle river in the background: sit on the wooden terrace on stilts and watch the swans and ducks pass by to the gentle sound of the lapping water. Idyllic! The little gîte is just as charming and cosy, with its "so british" decor. Cheryl has furnished it with your comfort in mind, and offers you a warm welcome full of little touches. Depending on what you'd like to discover, she'll show you her world as a ceramic artist and her workshops; you'll find hints of this as you stroll through the garden. The region is superb, between valley and forest, Pont Audemer and Le Bec-Hellouin, and the friendly little town of Brionne 9 km away. GITE DE PLAIN PIED: entrance into bright, spacious living room with beautiful modern kitchen, comfortable dining area and sitting room (sofa converts to 2 x 80×200 beds if required). TV. A bright bedroom, all in white and blue, with double bed (160×200), closet and dressing table. Attractive bathroom with large walk-in shower, 2 basins and toilet; towel radiator. The gîte has a pleasant private terrace under the wisteria, with 2 sets of garden furniture. It is attached to Cheryl's house but independent. The large garden covers almost 1 hectare, with grassland, vegetable garden and orchard, and is fully enclosed except for the unprotected river bank. Depending on the mood, games are available: petanque pitch, swing or table tennis. The GR224 is just 500m away and takes you on a tour of the valley.
