Gite "Ambre"
Charming little gîte in an old farmhouse (3 semi-detached units), in the countryside and in a peaceful setting, very close to Argentan. A peaceful place, in harmony with nature and animals (peacocks, dogs, cats, goats, hens, sheep, guinea pigs). The gîte has its own private garden with wooden terrace, and you can also enjoy the communal area and the company of our animals! Come and recharge your batteries in this cocoon that immerses you in a natural environment in the heart of our former farmhouse. Ambre is ideal for a stay (with family, friends or for work) in the countryside and to enjoy the conveniences of the city quickly (3 minutes by car from Argentan), we are ideally located if you want to visit our beautiful Normandy. The Ambre gîte comprises a downstairs room with a living room and a fully-equipped kitchen (you'll find everything you need to cook delicious meals). There's also a small office area. Wifi throughout.
The shower room is upstairs (with shower / towels provided). Upstairs, two bedrooms: 1 with 1 double bed (140×190 / linen provided) and 1 with 1 double bed (140×190 / linen provided) and 1 single bed (90×190 / linen provided). You have your own private entrance and a small private enclosed garden with wooden terrace. This gîte can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 1 child/baby. We depend on Sarceaux, but geographically we are closer to Argentan.
Pets (dogs, cats) are welcome, subject to prior agreement with us. The farm is located along a footpath classified as the “Chemins du Mont Saint-Michel”, in the middle of 4 hectares of land where our animals roam. The setting is calm and family-friendly. A small children’s playground is just
500 meters from the farm. We’re a 5-minute drive from downtown Argentan, and 3 minutes from the nearest supermarket. Motorized transport is required. However, a bus stop (less than a kilometer from the farm) provides easy access to downtown Argentan and the train station.
