In the lovely Lieuvin region, with its quintessentially Norman bocage landscapes dotted with small sunken lanes, nestled between the Calonne Valley—home to the village of Cormeilles—and Pont-Audemer, the “Little Venice of Normandy,” this charming cottage welcomes you for a relaxing getaway in the countryside. This beautiful contemporary home, set in the middle of a large garden all to yourself, was designed, planned, and decorated by Caroline and Didier-Luc to offer you a warm and cozy vacation spot, elegant and welcoming. The interior is spacious and comfortable, bright and airy throughout; the charming and inventive decor makes the whole place endearing—you’ll simply feel right at home! The garden is very pleasant and, on sunny days, will be a room all its ownwhere you’ll love to spend time—in the living room, on the terrace, on a lounge chair in the shade of the hazelnut trees, or playing on the lawn. Just over a kilometer away, the village of Lieurey is charming, with its shops and restaurants. The Normandy coast is only 40 minutes away, and there are plenty of beautiful walks to enjoy all around the cottage: the owners will be happy to recommend options based on your preferences. ON THE GROUND FLOOR: the entrance under the awning opens onto the large living area, bathed in light through its floor-to-ceiling windows: a very well-equipped kitchen behind a cozy bar with stools, a dining area, and a very comfortable living area. Half-bath with a sink. Upstairs, a landing with a work area leads to the two attic bedrooms: one with a large double bed (160×200) and the second with two single beds; both offer views of the garden. A beautiful, bright bathroom and a separate restroom. The house is air-conditioned. You’ll enjoy a large private garden of about 1,500 m² on the owners’ large, enclosed property: a lovely, open space around the cottage, a large terrace with a cozy lounge area, a dining area, sun loungers, and a pleasant shaded spot under the hazelnut trees. Ample parking. An electric vehicle charging station is located 1.4 km away in the village. Air conditioning on the ground floor and in all bedrooms.
