Wake up to the crowing of the cockerel in our Farmer’s Cabin, a unique accommodation made of untreated timber with rustic, cosy charm. Designed for a family of four, this arched structure (Pod-style) offers you a unique experience: a night in the heart of our educational farm, where the animals are your only neighbours.
Let yourself be enveloped by the warmth of the all-wood design. The Farmer’s Cabin has been thoughtfully furnished to ensure a restful night’s sleep after a day of adventures in the park. The rough-hewn wooden furniture enhances the authentic character of the place. The accommodation has electricity and a small electric heater for cosy nights whatever the season.
The sleeping area: A comfortable double bed (140×190) for parents, an ingenious pull-out bed (80×180) for one child, and a cosy children’s bench bed (70×160) for the youngest.
Enjoy your breakfast (available at an extra charge and delivered in a basket right outside your door) on the covered, raised terrace. Settle down comfortably around the garden table and enjoy your first coffee or tea of the day (provided free of charge in your accommodation), whilst taking in a direct and unobstructed view of the goat and sheep enclosure. You might even catch a glimpse of our alpacas or Shetland ponies in the distance. For your evenings, a barbecue is also available for your exclusive use.
The Fermily Experience: More than just a night’s stay, an adventure
Private Access to the Park: After the park closes to the public at 6 pm, Fermily Park is all yours! Stroll in peace along the paths at dusk and dawn for unforgettable moments of wildlife spotting.
Become the Farmer’s Apprentice: At 9.30 am, you’re invited to join our animal keeper to feed the animals (activity included). A unique moment of sharing and bonding for the children.
Practical Information
Toilets: For a true return to nature (in the spirit of glamping), the accommodation has no running water but is equipped with electricity. Shared toilet facilities (showers, toilets) are available 50 metres away.
