Eco-friendly farm 12 km from Bayeux

In a peaceful and unspoilt setting, we welcome you to our eco-farm, Ferme écologique du Val Fleuri, in Castillon. Nestled in the heart of the Normandy countryside, just 12 km from Bayeux and close to the D-Day beaches.

Our self-contained guest rooms offer a peaceful stay in the heart of a natural and eco-friendly setting.

A shared kitchen area is available to guests, equipped with a fridge, hob, microwave and crockery, making it easy to prepare your own meals on site. Ideal for those who don’t wish to eat out every evening.

The organic breakfast is prepared using locally sourced and home-made produce.

The farm is committed to an eco-friendly approach: a natural environment, a woodland garden, rainwater harvesting, renewable energy and environmentally friendly materials.

An ideal spot for those seeking an authentic, peaceful guesthouse surrounded by nature, whilst remaining close to Bayeux and the main tourist attractions of the Bessin region and the D-Day beaches. These self-contained ground-floor rooms feature a private entrance and a cosy kitchen area. You’ll appreciate how cool they stay during hot spells.

Situated at the heart of the tourist routes, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to activities: Bayeux, the D-Day beaches, Caen, Mont-Saint-Michel, the forest, or even the walking and cycling trails. There are plenty of options available around the farm.
