The Starry Greenhouse: For a unique and unusual overnight stay in Normandy
Are you looking for a truly unique overnight stay in Normandy? Then you’ve come to the right place at Domaine Albizia! Our new concept offers you a real window to the sky. The Serre aux Étoiles invites you to enjoy a unique experience in the contemporary greenhouse set within the Albizia gardens.
Made entirely of glass and metal, the greenhouse offers a tastefully decorated space for two people – a cosy cocoon with your own private garden. You’ll be surrounded by the estate’s fruit trees and organic vegetable patch. In the spirit of a traditional open-air café, you can enjoy the sunset over the estate’s gardens!
Once night falls, you can use a powerful telescope to observe the sky, the moon and Saturn’s rings, and photograph them with your smartphone… You’ll leave with some incredible photos! All that’s left to do is post them on Instagram!
There are toilet facilities and a walk-in shower just a few metres from the ‘greenhouse under the stars’. As an optional extra, bookable in advance, you can enjoy a delicious picnic basket (tables and chairs provided) comprising a drink of your choice, a delicious homemade club sandwich (choice of chicken with curry sauce, barbecue or kebab) and a delicious waffle (choice of chocolate, red berries, speculoos or caramel). If you wish, a bottle or half-bottle of champagne will be provided for you in the Star Greenhouse.
As an optional extra, subject to booking, a private spa session is available to help you unwind. When you wake up, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast included in your rate, as well as exploring the remarkable gardens.
On site: the “Les délices de Tante Cerfeuil” tea room, serving delicious brunches.
