As you stroll along the seafront promenade from Langrune-sur-Mer towards Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, you’ll be able to see your next destination and realise that it’s an ideal spot for a peaceful playtime (no cars) with the children. Make the most of high tide for a swim just 30 metres away, and low tide to expand the play area…
The beds are made on your arrival; you needn’t bring anything except the children’s small bikes and your own bath and beach towels.
For those who enjoy cooking, there’s a wide range of kitchen utensils, two fridges, an oven and a microwave. All you need to do is bring your cookery book or order your seafood and buy fish directly from the fishermen in Langrune-sur-Mer or at the fish market in Courseulles-sur-Mer.
Enjoy an easy stroll along the coast, east or west, on the sand or along the sea defences, each of which is unique to its respective town. But the inland area is also rich in historic monuments, magnificent cathedrals, abbeys, castles and stud farms. For visits and to commemorate the D-Day landings, the nearest sites are 30 minutes’ drive away and the furthest are an hour’s drive towards the Manche department.
