In the heart of the Normandy bocage, Château le Val, nestled in a lush green valley, is ideal for a country vacation.
Access is via a driveway lined with century-old trees. With its thick-walled tower, circular dovecote and 1045 nesting boxes, delightful little wood, park and various terraces… this magnificent 16th-century manor house is full of charm.
The château’s grounds offer a wide range of outdoor activities, including a large lawn for playing and sunbathing, table tennis and a barbecue/brasero.
Comfortable and welcoming, all apartments and rooms are equipped with excellent bedding, and offer magnificent views over the garden and surrounding countryside.
Château le Val is located in the heart of the Cotentin region, equidistant from the 3 coastal areas of La Manche. It’s the ideal place to stay for several days and explore the region in all directions. The greenways to Cherbourg, Mont-Saint-Michel and the D-Day landing beaches pass within 1 km of the Château. If you wish, you can also enjoy a meal once or twice a week, if you book our table d’hôtes in advance!
