You’ll immediately fall in love with this beautiful historic mill on the River Seine!

A hidden gem on the River Seine

Built at the end of the 12th century, the Moulin d’Andé is now a listed national historic monument. It’s the only mill with a water wheel remaining on the River Seine, and has kept its entire machinery intact. In 1962, the Moulin d’Andé became a cultural centre and has since then welcomed many famous French artists, including Romy Schneider, François Truffaut and Jacques Dutronc. Concerts and performances are given in its theatre throughout the year. Nestled in a 37-acre park, the mill also boasts a hotel with 35 rooms. It’s the perfect picnic spot!
