The superbly preserved village of Beuvron-en-Auge, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge is among the Most beautiful villages of France and is simply not to be missed. Lovely 17th and 18th century half-timbered houses rub shoulders with the indoor market and 15th century manor house, to offer a setting so typical of Normandy.
This charming village is also the departure point of the Cider Route, a 40km trail across the region’s many producers of cider, pommeau and calvados, via some truly charming Pays d’Auge villages - genuine picture postcard images of Normandy.
