Calling all Normandy lovers! If you’re in Brighton next Bank Holiday weekend, join us at the famous Brighton Fringe festival for the Normandy Weekend: a celebration of French culture, food and entertainment!

Three days of nORMANDY FRENZY

We are delighted to announce our collaboration with Brighton Fringe 2024, presenting the Normandy Weekend from 24 to 26 May.

Brighton Fringe, recognized as England’s largest arts festival, attracts over half a million attendees annually throughout the month of May. The festival, spanning various venues across Brighton, including the sponsored venue Fool’s Paradise, showcases a diverse range of performances, exhibitions, and events.

Fool’s Paradise, located south of St. Peter’s Church, near the North Laine district, will serve as the focal point for the Normandy Weekend. Managed by Australian troupe Head First Acrobats, Fool’s Paradise offers a unique setting with two domes hosting a variety of entertainment.

The Normandy Weekend, scheduled for 24 to 26 of May, will feature a series of events including free food tastings, cabaret shows, DJ sets, and live performances.

Roll up for tastings!

A true taste of Normandy

During two jam-packed days, we’ll be showcasing the true flavours of Normandy! Fancy something sweet? Bring the whole family for a Normandy sweet treats tasting, tucking into Cara-Meuh caramels, La Maison Du Biscuit cakes or Caramel De Pommes Dieppois spread. More of a cheese friend? We’ve got you covered with a cheese tasting ticking off the classics like Camembert, Neufchatel, Livarot and Isigny Mimolette. Or why not get into the weekend spirit and chance a calvados flight tasting a wealth of apple brandies.

Get ready to rock your socks off!

On Saturday at 6pm and Sunday at 4pm, don’t miss For the Hackers, who will be performing for the very first time in Brighton! Hailing from Dieppe, these indie-rockers have been active for about a decade now, and have numerous hits to their name. Their blend of pop, rock and electro with French lyrics is guaranteed to impress. These music devils have the capacity to move the audience emotionally, and physically! Their live shows are powerful, engaging, and their chemistry as a band is very visible. A truly unmissable act, especially as For the Hackers will be playing on top of their solar-powered bus!
